This cottage is ideally located with lots of bars and restaurants close at hand. Why not enjoy time in the coastal resort of Whitby with all its history and old world charm. The cottage is well equipped and has a lovely private yard/patio to the rear overlooking Blackburn's yard to enjoy dining al-fresco or just soaking up the atmosphere.

The property was lovely, however there could be just a couple of things that would make it better....there was tea and coffee but no milk...just a pint popped into the fridge would make all the difference after a long car journey....also we discovered that the fridge door shelf was removed because of being broken before our arrival...making storage in the fridge a little difficult....the only other suggestion would be at the end of the season or periodically check over the equipment etc and replace tired with new. Other than that every thing was good.

Nice location but the cottage is very tired. The living room chair is stained and the locks to the doors to both entrances are pretty ropey. The photographs make the property feel much more fresh, new and loved than it actually is.
