Snaptrip says

Broadings Cottage at Broadings Farm is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location near Whitby. Guests appreciate the underfloor heating, beautiful views, and the enclosed garden, especially those with pets. The cottage's warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with the owners' responsiveness, contribute to a memorable stay. While minor maintenance issues are noted, they do not detract from the overall positive experiences.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests report the cottage as very clean, with several positive comments on its tidiness. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as cobwebs and a full vacuum cleaner bag, which slightly impacts the score.

The location is consistently praised for its proximity to Whitby, local shops, and scenic views, making it an ideal spot for guests. The convenience of a park and ride service nearby is also appreciated.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, mentioning the underfloor heating and quality of the beds. There are isolated comments about an uncomfortable bed and seating, but these are few and based on personal preference.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and lovely shower. However, there are recurring issues with the DVD player and TV reception, which suggests room for improvement in entertainment amenities.

Guests express gratitude for the welcoming touches, such as biscuits and freshly laid eggs. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it is noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary.

As before, we found the cottage clean and tidy on our arrival, with a very welcome small pack of goodies atop the microwave oven - thank you. To be honest, the only grumble we had was two things. Firstly, although there were a small selection of DVD in the cottage to watch in the evening, there was simply no way of plugging the DVD player into the television set! Secondly, on the third day of our stay, we decided to use the 'Henry' vacuum cleaner to go over all the floors. We found that it would not pick anything up. Close inspection of the bag inside revealed that it was absolutely full to bursting. With no replacement bag on hand, my wife and I spent nearly thirty minutes standing outside at one of the wheelie bins having to carefully extract a mountain of hairs, dist and other debris. Just a small point that perhaps your cleaning team might wish to keep an eye on? Otherwise, we had a lovely stay at Broadings Cottage and will certainly be visiting again in the future.
