Perfect for a romantic getaway or a quiet break, this retreat is everything you and your loved one could hope for to accompany your scenic journeys. All ground floor, the cottage boasts an open plan living area, which is a lovely arrangement for a cosy night in discussing those up and coming adventures over a home-cooked meal. The dining area lies adjacent to the sitting room, so you can relax on the leather sofa afterwards, and escape into your own world, perhaps with a good book. The double bedroom is matched with soothing colours, low lighting and floral wall art which creates a peaceful atmosphere for a good nights sleep, and you can wake up to it all over again. If you can steer yourself away from the cottage, dedicating some time for the breath-taking location is a must. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. The family orientated town hosts an abundance of activities for everyone to enjoy, and a short drive to Scarborough will be a fantastic end to the day. Everything you could want and more, from a coastal holiday village and its magnificent surroundings.
A fishing town on the North East Coast, The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, certainly worth a visit. This small town is family orientated, with donkey rides available on the beach, childrens play areas and crazy golf. Nearby, Flamborough Head boasts high cliffs with scenic walks and Bempton Cliffs are a haven for bird lovers. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where for family fun you can visit the Alpamare Waterpark.

Could not fault it.

There was a gap between the end of the shower tray and the wall and however careful it was impossible not to get some water on the floor in this gap when showering. The wash basin is ridiculously small with an oversized mixer tap and again impossible not to get water on the floor when brushing teeth and washing hands. The microwave is not very accessible being situated in an overhead top corner cupboard. Despite all this our stay was comfortable.
