The property consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotless' upon arrival. The attention to cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience.
The cottage's location in a quiet village close to the North York Moors is frequently praised. Its proximity to local attractions and peaceful setting are appreciated, although parking difficulties due to overgrown shrubbery have been mentioned.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the cottage spacious, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, some guests noted issues with a noisy bed frame and basic mattresses, slightly affecting the comfort score.
While the property is generally well-equipped, several reviews mention issues with the central heating, shower, and a lack of instructions for appliances. These comments suggest room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the owner, so it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness category accurately. Therefore, this score is set to null.
