Guests say

Guests have had enjoyable stays at East Cottage, praising the well-maintained swimming pool, the warm welcome from the owners, and the homely feel of the property. The cottage offers lovely views, a cosy atmosphere, and a private garden, making it suitable for both families and couples. While one review mentioned the need for redecoration and a cleaner environment, the overall experience is reported to be relaxing and pleasant.

The majority of reviews suggest the accommodation is clean, with one exception noting the decor was tired and not very clean. However, as this seems to be an isolated comment and the owners are reportedly addressing it, the cleanliness is generally considered to be above average.

There is not enough information in the reviews to accurately assess the location. No specific comments about the location's convenience, scenery, or accessibility were provided.

Comfort is highlighted as a positive aspect, with the cottage described as warm and cosy. One review did mention the need for more comfortable decor, but overall, guests seem satisfied with the level of comfort provided.

Facilities, especially the swimming pool, are frequently mentioned as a highlight. The pool is described as fantastic, big, and very well maintained. There is a mention of the property needing some updates, but the new owners' responsiveness to feedback suggests ongoing improvements.

Guests have noted the thoughtfulness of the owners, mentioning a welcome pack and gifts. While these gestures are appreciated and contribute to the positive experience, it should be noted that such personal touches, while delightful, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

We were welcomed like family - there were even gifts left out for us. The pool is absolutely amazing, we spent some time there every day. Great place for families or couples and we will definitely return! Highly recommended

On our arrival there was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us which was much appreciated, including milk which we’d forgotten to bring. The cottage is warm and cosy with lovely views across the countryside and the private back garden ideal for our dog where she could have a run about. Our children loved the pool which was big, very well maintained, had a shower, changing facilities and a toilet. We will be back for sure, thanks to the property owners for such an enjoyable stay.
