Malvern, Worcestershire is a picturesque town on the eastern side of the spectacular Malvern Hills, and it has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. The Malvern Hills are a 9-mile long range of old sandstone with 100 miles of hiking trails, bridle pathways, and springs, as well as panoramic vistas in every direction. Among the many annual events in Malvern is the Great Malvern Food Festival, which takes place in June. Other annual events include antiques fairs, WI country markets, farmers' markets, and several auctions. Malvern is home to unique boutiques, coffee shops, art galleries, restaurants, a high-end day spa, and a microbrewery. RHS Malvern (in May), The Royal Three Counties Show (in June), and the Malvern Autumn Show (in September) are only a few of the annual events held at the nearby Three Counties Showground (September). Since Morgan Motor Company was founded there, it's no surprise that automobile nuts love this place. Theater shows from the West End and the Royal Shakespeare Company are often presented at the Malvern Theatre. Extremely active people can participate in a variety of outdoor pursuits, such as high ropes courses, rock climbing, and abseiling. You may go on a river cruise or go fishing, and there are National Trust homes, gardens, and vineyards in the neighbourhood. Only 30 miles distant lies the magnificent Forest of Dean, home to a variety of attractions, and 20 minutes away is the cathedral city of Worcester, home to modern conveniences.

The front garden was overgrown, walked to rear of property and the rear garden was grossly overgrown, the table and 2 chairs were on the uneven grass, could not be used .. Entered the property and my wife compaired it to an old peoples home,no curtains in kitchen for privacy,a locked bedroom upstairs, the property to our left had filthy curtains and we thought there maybe squatters in residence as the fencing was falling down and the whole scenario made my wife feel uneasy about staying. We then sat in the lounge area and all you got was moths flying around in your face, very off putting. As we were so tyred due to our long journey we decide to stay the 1 night. We then left the following morning at 5.15 am to travel home. Due to all I have said I would expect a full refund for the 2 nights we did not stay and also a refund of the cleaning charge as there was cobwebs all over which we pulled down.I would have thought sykes cottages would inspect these properties to make sure they are upto spec,As this one was certainly not

Handwritten instructions as to how to set up the cooker which was also switched off would have been appreciated as we never yet got it to work. The bed was comfortable and clean and nice clean bathroom. However make sure to take your own toilet paper as none was provided!

I did think a couple of lamps in the sitting room would be good for more subtle lighting and we were a bit disappointed that no Christmas decorations were put up - probably my fault for not checking beforehand and making assumptions that it would be decorated but this was the first Christmas holiday rental where this has been the case. However, I would certainly come here again to explore the area in hopefully the better summer months and would love to sit in your lovely back garden which we didn't do this year. Loved your front garden as well!
