Guests say

Basford View is a well-regarded cottage praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and stunning views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, the property's proximity to local attractions, and the thoughtful touches provided by the friendly owners. While some guests suggest minor updates and maintenance, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many looking forward to returning.

The majority of guests have reported the property to be extremely clean, with only a single review mentioning issues with mould and water stains. The high standard of cleanliness is consistently noted across reviews.

The location is frequently praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions and walks. However, a few guests noted the lack of nearby major supermarkets and suitable dining options, slightly affecting the score.

Guests find the property comfortable, highlighting the quality of the beds and the cosy atmosphere. The presence of a reclining sofa and a big TV in the lounge adds to the comfort. There are a few mentions of issues with the shower temperature and a noisy bathroom floor.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the property being described as well-equipped. However, some guests have suggested that certain aspects, such as the bathroom and kitchen appliances, could benefit from an upgrade or maintenance.

While guests have expressed gratitude for the thoughtful touches, such as a small gift in the fridge, there is not enough information to determine if such gestures are consistent or guaranteed for all stays. Therefore, a score cannot be provided, and guests should note that such gifts are not guaranteed.
