Guests say

Guests consistently praise Old Town Cottage for its prime location in Ludlow, cleanliness, and quiet atmosphere. The property is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, with thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and basic provisions adding to the experience. While compact, the cottage is highly recommended for couples, and the provision of a parking space is appreciated, despite some finding it a short walk away.

Reviewers frequently mention the spotless condition of the cottage, highlighting its cleanliness as a standout feature. The property's upkeep and the presence of cleaning supplies contribute to guests' positive experiences.

The cottage's central yet quiet location is highly commended, with guests enjoying the convenience of being close to Ludlow's town centre and attractions. Some guests noted difficulty in finding the property initially, but overall, the location is seen as a major advantage.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the bed comfortable. There are a few mentions of soft sofas and a suggestion for a new mattress, but these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback on the cottage's comfort.

Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and maintained, with everything needed for a stay. The presence of Wi-Fi, despite being advertised otherwise, is a pleasant surprise for guests. However, some guests suggested improvements such as better lighting for reading and clearer information on rubbish disposal.

The thoughtfulness of the host is evident through gestures like providing fresh flowers, flapjacks, and basic provisions. While these gifts are warmly received, it is noted that such personal touches, though delightful, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

It was the perfect size for me and a joy to stay in for a few nights while I investigate Ludlow and decide whether to move to Shropshire from Manchester. It was clean, light and peaceful. A little cat even welcomed me on my arrival and departure. I especially appreciated the little details; the furniture, the doors, the jar of delicious flapjacks. I was so grateful to have discovered such a lovely cottage. It made all the difference to my break from the city. Thank you.
