Guests say

Meadow View is a well-received cottage in Warwickshire, praised for its picturesque location and welcoming atmosphere. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including a welcome pack and dog-friendly amenities. The property offers beautiful views, a peaceful village setting, and is considered a sanctuary by many. It serves as a convenient base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

The cottage is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with only one mention of an issue with cleanliness regarding a previous pet's presence. This appears to be an isolated incident, hence the high score.

The location is highly praised for its tranquillity, beautiful views, and proximity to local attractions and walks. It is deemed perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and other nearby areas.

While the cottage is often described as cosy and the bed as comfortable, several guests found the lounge seating to be very uncomfortable. The comfort of the seating has impacted the score in this category.

The cottage is well-equipped with modern conveniences, though some guests noted the absence of a freezer (which was later provided) and the small size of the TV. The responsive host addressed heating issues promptly, reflecting good maintenance.

Guests frequently mention the thoughtful welcome pack and provisions for dogs, which contribute to the cottage's charm. However, as these gifts may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay, the score reflects this consideration.

Lovely walks around the village and convenient for many attractions, Stratford, Banbury and Oxford in particular. Great for us as family in a local village. Arrive on a Saturday and experience the tea and cakes in the village Hall, they were superb. Only negative for ourselves was the fact that there isn't allocated parking, but we were aware of this before booking. All in all a great stay for us and our small dog.

Quiet, central, spacious, modern furnishings yet with historic touches, and lovely views, what more could you ask for in a holiday cottage! A responsive and helpful host was a benefit. We so hope to return in the future.
