Leominster 2.5 miles. A delightful, semi-detached cottage attached to the owner's home, in the scattered village of Stoke Prior, near Leominster surrounded by unspoilt Herefordshire countryside. Enter the cottage into a hallway which leads to a light, airy and very well-equipped kitchen/diner, through which you can find a cosy sitting room complete with sumptuous sofas, ideal for relaxing after a day walking the Herefordshire hills. The staircase from the hall leads to two lovely first floor bedrooms, both with the added benefit of en-suite facilities with the front bedroom enjoying long-distant views. Doors from the kitchen take you to the front patio where you can enjoy alfresco dining on a summer's evening, relax with a good book and take in the beautiful countryside views. Walks can be enjoyed from the doorstep of the cottage, with The Three Rivers Ride and Herefordshire Trail both close. The market town of Leominster is a short drive away, and is ideal for enjoying a relaxing stroll and stopping for a bite to eat in one of its cafés or pubs. Why not visit the nearby village of Monkland with its artisan cheese dairy, Hereford with its Mappa Mundi world map or the pretty market town of Ludlow? Leominster is located in the heart of the beautiful border countryside, where England and Wales nudge each other along Offas Dyke. Dating back to the 7th Century, the town of Leominster possesses some fine examples of architecture such as the Priory Church, along with a wide variety of shops, cafes and pubs, and is the ideal place in which to spend a lazy afternoon strolling around in pleasant surroundings.

The owners David and Nicola were very kind. If we needed any thing they would immediately try and help. I would definitely recommend this place nice and cosy, good views. We were there for about 4 weeks. Shops and supermarkets all nearby.
