Guests say

The Old Workshop in Dulverton receives high praise for its comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and the convenience of en suite bedrooms. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, the cosy atmosphere, and the secure off-road parking. The enclosed courtyard is a plus for those with pets. Dulverton's charm, with its friendly locals and array of shops and dining options, adds to the property's appeal. While some guests missed a microwave and suggested minor improvements, the overall experience is very positive, making it a recommended stay for visitors to Somerset.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and welcoming upon arrival, with only a few isolated comments about cleanliness issues. The majority of reviews do not raise concerns, suggesting that the property is generally well-maintained.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local amenities, good dining options, and scenic walks. Dulverton is described as a friendly town, making the cottage's location ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside.

Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the cosy nature of the property. The presence of en suite bathrooms for all bedrooms and the overall warm atmosphere contribute to a comfortable stay, despite some feedback about lounge seating for larger groups.

The property is well-equipped with high-quality kitchen appliances and sufficient crockery. However, several guests noted the absence of a microwave and smaller kitchen items like a milk saucepan, which affects the score. Maintenance issues like the hot water schedule and a damp smell in the shower room were also mentioned.

While some guests appreciated the nice touches and felt welcome, there are mixed comments about the provision of welcome gifts such as wine or biscuits. As these are not consistently mentioned or expected, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the available reviews.
