"The Western Gateway to the Cotswolds" is a nickname for this area. Regency terraces, yearly festivals, a Ladies' College, and a racecourse give this spa town on the border of the Cotswolds an air of sophisticated elegance that is hard to match. Every year in March, Cheltenham Racecourse hosts the world-famous Cheltenham Festival, a four-day event featuring horse jump racing and concluding in the awarding of the Gold Cup. Friendly owners next door if you need anything... lively welcome pack on arrival meant we could have a cuppa straight away! Well equipped kitchen is great. Perfect location, in close walking distance to train, city centre, bus stops and space to park. We took couple of day trips to cotswolds before enjoying races. Would recommend
