Guests have enjoyed the spaciousness, cleanliness, and well-equipped kitchen of Vantage Point, along with its beautiful views and relaxing hot tub and sauna. The property's location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and dining options. Comfort is noted in the large bedrooms and cosy living areas, though some guests mentioned firm beds. While the property has been praised for its initial impression, there are several mentions of maintenance needs and cleanliness issues that detract from the overall experience.
The property has received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Some guests found it spotless and well-presented, while others reported issues such as mold, cobwebs, and an unpleasant smell in one of the bathrooms. The presence of a dead mouse and scattered false nails also suggest room for improvement in cleaning standards.
There is insufficient information to accurately assess the location as the reviews do not provide specific details about the surrounding area or its accessibility to local amenities.
The property is generally found to be comfortable, with large bedrooms, big sofas, and a well-organised layout. However, some guests have noted issues with hot water and shower control, and a continuous hum from the hot tub in one of the bedrooms. The firmness of the beds was not to everyone's liking.
Facilities like the hot tub, sauna, and well-equipped kitchen are highlights, but there are several comments about the need for maintenance. Guests have pointed out the complicated oven, the need for TLC on the decking area, and the condition of the outdoor furniture. These issues suggest that while the facilities are appreciated, they require attention.
The reviews do not mention any specific gestures of thoughtfulness such as gifts or special touches provided by the hosts, therefore it is not possible to evaluate this category.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth. A relaxing location in South Devon.

Layout is perfect for several couples. Whilst we didnât use the golf course the description suggests that the property was part of a golf complex which it isnât. As other guests have pointed out the property needs maintenance and a deep clean. Specifically some of the door locks need replacing and the outdoor furniture is very tired. We were disappointed in finding cobwebs, crumbs and lipstick on furniture, hand marks on windows, dirty crockery & cutlery as well as several false nails scattered around the bedrooms. There was an unpleasant smell in en-suite bathroom below hot tub and that shower did not drain very well.

. Please read following: Dead mouse found in bathroom cupboard in bedroom nearest to parking space. Skylight dirty needs cleaning. Decking needs a clean and re-sealing. Hand rail around the decking needs re- sealing. Glass banister around decking needs cleaning, covered in green algae at the edges and full of spiders webs. Pots on decking need weeding. The garden below the decking and each side of the drive way needs sorting, it's over grown and migrating on to the already narrow drive (about 3 MTRS wide) then over grown on to it, it looks like it was well planned but not maintained or looked after. Patio furniture in poor condition, it's usable but the hardwood table top needs sealing and some of the chairs have the paint off them leaving corroded aluminium behind. Overall we had a good stay and were well catered for views of wild life were wounderful, fixing the above would have made it perfect. Overall I would say the property was a 3+/4- out of 5. Would we come back? Probably! Although the beds were VERY firm for us.

Everything was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was really well equipped. The property is really spacious, the bedrooms are large - the photos really donât do it justice. There was also a good selection of board games and jigsaws. The sauna and hot tub are just perfect with the added bonus of being undercover when the weather is not so kind! The Sportsmanâs Arms is a great pub (excellent carvery) and only a 5 minute drive away. We also visited Dartmouth, Totnes and a trip to The Ferryboat Inn (known as the FBI). We had 3 generations on holiday, ages from 16 to 83 and there was something for everyone.
