Just outside the hamlet, golfers can also delight with a round at the Thorn Golf Centre, whilst a peaceful spot of birdwatching can be had at Sidmouth's Oakdown Bird Hide. For a day out, head west by car into Sidmouth, a seaside town brimming with cafes, pubs, and restaurants, along with the landmarks and attractions of the Sidmouth Museum, the Blackmore Gardens, the picturesque Chit Rocks, and the iconic stretch of Sidmouth Beach and Sea Front.
