Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests generally find the cottage very clean, with one mention of areas needing more thorough cleaning such as cobwebs. The positive remarks suggest a high level of cleanliness overall.

The location is praised for being close to local places of interest and beaches, with good road links. However, there is a mention of traffic noise and one guest suggested that Friday travel can be difficult.

The cottage is described as comfortable, with a modern kitchen and lounge, and a cool bedroom area. One review suggested the need for airing out the cottage upon arrival.

Facilities are well-received, with a games room, laundry equipment, and outdoor seating areas. Wi-Fi connectivity issues were noted downstairs. The presence of a pool table and enclosed play area are positives.

While guests appreciate the thoughtful extras such as games, DVDs, and a welcome with biscuits and tea, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for every stay, hence the score cannot be provided.

About this property

Lambkin Cottage rests at The Flower Farm, a smart development of holiday cottages in luscious green countryside, near the Cornish market town of St. Columb Major. It is an ideal base for families and friends looking to get together and explore the north coast of Cornwall. Return from one of your adventures and relax with the TV or a round of pool in the games room, where you will also find a kitchenette area housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. Alternatively, you can spend your down time upstairs in the open-plan living room, where a homely gas fire takes the chill off a cold winter's night and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up homemade meals to have around the dining table. Step outside from the living room and enjoy a refreshing drink on the patio, with views of the hills for company, a lovely retreat to choose for your next holiday. Note: This cottage can be booked with Ref. 1007628, 1007629, 1007631 and 1007633, sleeping 24 people altogether.

This market town is nestled among lush green countryside, just five miles from the North Cornish Coast. Nearby you have all the resort attractions of Newquay including bars, clubs, a zoo, the National Surfing Centre and fabulous beaches. The South West Coast path is superb for walking and cycling, while the surrounding area offers gardens, adventure playgrounds and theme parks, along with fishing lakes and golf courses.

My only issue is it’s a Friday to Friday let and my experience after travelling to Cornwall for the last 12 years is it is the worst day to travel from Manchester.

Everything you need is catered for like being home from home, the reverse living is a bonus as the bedrooms stay cool all day . We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back.

Landlady and employees are very friendly and helpful. My husband had interesting conversations with the landlady and especially the gardener. Everything is available in the house. The arrival is sweetened with biscuits, tea bags, milk and a beautiful bouquet. Thanks again to everyone. We would love to come back.
