The beauty of this property is continued into the two delightful bedrooms; choose between a king-size and a double, both with storage and serviced by a shower room. This property has the added bonus of a characterful sunroom, with access to a wonderful terrace, where guests can dine alfresco in the salty air. Imagine waking up to the sound of the waves gently breaking and the river flowing out to sea before eating breakfast whilst watching the fishing boats go out, people swimming, and even the gig being rowed out. Harbour Light is all about location and views; this smart, first-floor apartment is located in Boscastle, one of the most picturesque and unspoilt villages in North Cornwall. It has stunning views of the harbour from its picture window. Step out of the front door, and you can access the coastal path, with spectacular scenery each way you look. Boscastle is an idyllic coastal village, resting beside a pretty river and offering a selection of galleries, independent stores, cafés, restaurants, and pubs, with dining options including The Rocket Store, The Long Bar and Restaurant at The Wellington, The Cobweb Inn, The Riverside, and the highly acclaimed, Boscastle Farm Shop. This is a walkers paradise with an assortment of riverside strolls, coastal, moorland and woodland walks. There is also a good bus service and local taxis. Cornwall is now a first class ‘foodie’ destination and boasts an abundance of top-quality restaurants serving locally-sourced produce and many are within a short drive of Boscastle. A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever-popular visitor destination. Spectacular cliff tops, rocky coves, wild surf, open fields and rich wildlife characterise this beautiful area, and the coastal footpath passes through some of Britain’s most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, with its castle and spectacular new bridge. Port Isaac is 10 miles away and The Eden Project a scenic drive away too! There are several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn. Make a Cornish getaway to remember with a stay at the fantastic Harbour Light.

We have stayed in a fair few places in Boscastle and my Dad has been visiting for 40 years and this place blew him away. The view of the harbour from the apartment is the best in Boscastle by far, the place was immaculately clean and well furnished. The kitchen and bathroom were top notch and the bedrooms were really comfy. There’s everything in the apartment that you could want and I imagine it is very warm if you visit in winter time. Loading and unloading the car is really easy with plenty of space to pull up right outside the front door, then all you have to do is park at the public car park in the village. If you get a week long ticket with the Just Park app then it works out really cheap daily. At time of writing it cost £15.10 to park for 7 days. Great that you can check in at 3pm, others in the village are much later. The whole thing was very simple. I really couldn’t find a single bad thing to say about our stay, we will be back for sure!

This is our second stay at Harbour Light which tells you all you need to know about this cottage. You'll want to come back after staying here. Boscastle itself is scenic and charming, a lovely vacation destination.
