Guests that stayed at this property said

The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with only one mention of minor cleaning needed upon arrival. The high standard of cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience.

The location receives unanimous acclaim for its proximity to beaches, coastal paths, and local amenities. The spectacular views and ease of access to attractions without needing a car contribute to the perfect score.

Guests find the beds very comfortable and the house spacious, with ample seating and a homely feel. There is a single mention of a noisy utility room affecting comfort in one bedroom, but overall, the comfort level is rated very highly.

The house is well-equipped with a great kitchen, garden, and BBQ. Some guests suggest minor improvements such as an outdoor shower and more cooking bowls. The small freezer size is noted, but the facilities generally meet guests' needs.

While many reviews mention welcome gifts such as cream teas and flowers, which are greatly appreciated, there is not enough information to guarantee such gestures for future guests. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

A few minutes walk away is the Bowgie Inn, serving food and drink with the same fantastic view, and Crantock village is only five minute walk away along a country lane, where there are two more pubs, a Londis grocery store, Post Office and other village attractions. Crantock Bay House also has a large garden to the rear being fully enclosed making it ideal for guests with small children and dogs.

Crantock is a small Cornish village, set back from the coast, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

Today, we have booked for next April. What do you want in a holiday home? Outside, ample car parking space; panoramic views of cliffs and ocean; garden space for kids to play and grown ups to relax. Inside, a well equipped kitchen, loads of room to relax and comfy, comfy beds.We arrived with our Tesco order 4 hours away but welcomed by milk, tea and coffee plus jam and cream scones. Really appreciated. Pauline, the manager, was always at the other end of the phone should we need her. Everything was so well organised, we didn’t. When we win the lottery, this is the house we would love to buy. Thank you.

    Would highly recommend.

The garden is lovely and safe for dogs. The house is well stocked with everything most families would need. The housekeeper, Pauline, is always very helpful if you have any questions about anything. There are 2 good eateries a couple of minutes walk away with equally beautiful views and you can walk to Crantock village centre in about 10 minutes which has a Londis, 2 pubs and a more seasonal cafe/pizza option. We love the area and the house and are now serial returners! It's best to book early as it gets booked up quickly, not surprisingly. Thank you to both Jane and Pauline
