Atlantic View is a well-regarded cottage in Cornwall, praised for its ample space, thoughtful touches like toys and books, and a secure garden ideal for pets. Its location offers easy access to Bude and stunning beaches, with some guests highlighting the beautiful sea views and sunsets. While some guests encountered issues with cleanliness and maintenance, the property generally provides a comfortable and well-equipped stay.
Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property well-presented, while others noted concerns with pet hairs, stained cushions, and a musty smell in one bathroom. The presence of both positive and negative comments suggests a variability in the standard of cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Bude, beaches, and the Cornish coastline. Guests appreciate the rural yet not isolated setting, although some noted road noise. The scenic views and accessibility to local attractions contribute to a positive assessment of the location.
Comfort receives positive remarks for the spaciousness and the thoughtful provision of books and toys. However, some guests mentioned issues with noisy beds and the potential for road noise. Overall, the property is considered comfortable, with suggestions for minor improvements.
There is insufficient information to accurately score facilities and maintenance. While some guests were satisfied with the amenities, others reported problems such as a broken tumble dryer and a rotting washing line. Without a clear consensus, it is not possible to provide a fair score.
The property is commended for thoughtful touches, including the provision of toys and books suitable for young guests. However, as there is no mention of gifts, it is important to note that such personal touches are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

Would have been great to have had trumble dryer working.

Location was near to Bude and lots of great beaches . The house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay . Unfortunately the tumble dryer was out of action and the downstairs bathroom had an unpleasant smell . The cushions on sofas had seen better days .

It was extremely well equipped, we are a family that likes to cook, & to find all the utensils & other equipment we needed was brilliant & really added to our enjoyment. The secure garden was of great benefit as we had 2 lively dogs with us, they loved to be able to wander at will. The accommodation set up worked very well, with the downstairs bedroom, toilet & shower making life very easy for my elderly mother. I would highly recommend this property, the owners obviously care a great deal about it & the holiday experience they are providing. One tiny bit of feedback - & this is only to aid the owners, it is in no way a complaint - is that the rotary washing line in the back garden is old, rusting, & has a broken arm. It is not in a usable condition. I am only providing this feedback as I feel the condition of the washing line detracts from the luxury nature of the rest of the house & facilities.
