Guests appreciate the welcome pack and thoughtful touches, though some mention minor issues with maintenance and facilities. The cottage's charm and convenience for exploring the local area are frequently highlighted.

Most guests found the cottage to be very clean, with only a couple of isolated comments about minor cleanliness issues such as rubbish in the bin and a slow-draining shower that needed attention.

The location is highly praised for being close to the high street, restaurants, the beach, and local attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring Hythe and the surrounding Kent area.

Guests generally find the cottage comfortable, especially noting the beds and the games room. However, some guests expressed inconvenience due to the layout, such as the distance to the toilet from the bedrooms and the lack of a TV in the main living area.

The cottage is appreciated for its welcome pack and beautiful decor. A guest mentioned receiving a bottle of prosecco, which was a kind gesture, though such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

Property was spotlessly clean and welcoming. We had the joy of potting up the winter hanging baskets and planters in the small courtyard garden to the rear. A really fun activity. Looking forward to our next stay already.

Bedside lamps in back bedroom didn't work neither did the light above the sink. Only one hand towel for 3 people for the whole week. Weeds and dead flowers in the back yard, looked very untidy. A shame as a great location.

The fact that the weather was good meant that we could sit in the garden and use the studio at the bottom of the garden. There was not sufficient storage for clothes and there were a lack of kitchen utensils for cooking. There was no salt and pepper dispensers and no cleaning materials. So had to purchase these. The water was not draining away in the shower, on inspecting the shower waste was disgusting (full of hair, soap and scum), there was a lot of dust under the lounge chairs, around the feet of the chairs and ,on the bottom of the lamp. I left the property a lot cleaner than when we arrived. (Although I just wiped the bathroom down because it needed a deep clean). The positives were the bedrooms had televisions, the bed in the back bedroom was comfortable and the property was close to the main shops and the canal.
