Make yourself at home in the tastefully-presented living space, with an open-plan design comprising a fully-equipped kitchen complete with sleek integrated appliances, a dining area with ample seating, and an inviting sitting space with a corner sofa and a wall-mounted Smart TV. On sunny days or warm evenings, take a drink outside onto your very own private terrace, where you can catch up on the day's events or plan the rest of your itinerary as the starry night begins to reveal itself overhead. When sleep inevitably calls, refresh with a rejuvenating shower in the wet room before you finally settle down for your valuable rest in one of the two plush double bedrooms. If you fancy exploring the local area, set out on foot to discover what the vibrant city of Canterbury has to offer. A brief stroll will bring you to your nearest convenience stores and supermarkets, so you’ll never run low on homely essentials, whilst a delicious lunch or evening meal can be savoured at the White Hart Inn or Two Sawyers, before you sink a pint or two at The Foundry Brew Pub. You won’t have to leave Canterbury to find an abundance of enjoyment, with the pristine Westgate and Greyfriars Gardens serving as terrific spots for an afternoon amble; the Westgate Towers Museum & Viewpoint, The Beaney House of Art & Knowledge, the Canterbury Roman Museum, and the eponymous Canterbury Cathedral offering a peek into the city’s past; and the Malthouse Theatre and Curzon Canterbury Riverside centres providing entertainment for those with a love for the arts! Enjoy the trip of a lifetime to Kent when you book a stay at The Old Post Office.

Dominating the city skyline, the cathedral at Canterbury is the oldest in England, and along with the castle and quaint cobbled streets, draws visitors back time and again to its history, heritage and culture. Cosmopolitan restaurants, vibrant nightclubs and traditional pubs perch along the main streets or down narrow lanes, along with both high street shops and independent retailers. Travelling by foot is an excellent way of exploring the city, with walking trails and guided walks allowing visitors to discover winding streets and hidden corners, all with their own unique identity. By taking a boat trip along the River Stour, you can appreciate Canterbury's historic architecture and enjoy outstanding scenic views. From the frequent fairs and festivals to tempting food and drink events, Canterbury offers something for everyone throughout the year. For those wishing to enjoy the sea, Herne Bay and Whitstable are less than 8 miles away, while the attractions of inland Kent can also be easily reached.

Unfortunately the info given in the Sykes website was inaccurate regards parking - said the parking was paid , intimating there would be a permit inside the property to be placed in the car, however this was not the case and to find a space in the road was non existent and the local car park added a significant extra cost onto the rental. Also beware the property is above a laundrette which cranked up its extractor fan at 9am and turned it off at 6pm. Whilst this is not too much of an issue if you plan to be out all day, it is extremely noisy if you are not it.
