Nestled in the historic village of Holme, opposite a gastro pub serving excellent food, The sleeps two and can be hired alongside The Cow Shed (our ref: 1013322) and The Shearer's Hut (our ref. 1148316) allowing luxury accommodation for up to 6 people.
The surrounding area is popular with walkers, hikers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts, making this an ideal retreat for those wanting to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire and the Dark Peak. Located just outside of Holmfirth and the infamous Picture Drome music venue, The Hayloft is also an ideal location for exploring National Trust treasures such as Chatsworth House, Quarry Bank Mill and Lyme Park.
The property has a stunning Yorkshire stone flagged floor and boasts underfloor heating throughout, keeping you cool in the summer and welcoming you with a cosy warmth during the colder months. The stylish kitchen/diner boasts views across the National Park,along with granite worktops and a range of quality integrated appliances. Using the car you can easily access the Hope Valley via the Woodhead Pass for walks that include Winnats Pass, Mam Tor and the Great Ridge.
Other must see attractions such as the Blue John Mines and the Yorkshire Sculpture park are easily accessible and brilliant days out.
The cities of Leeds,Sheffield and Manchester are nearby and can be reached by local bus and train services. Two great pubs, serving fabulous food, are within walking distance of The Hayloft (one directly across the road).

Everything was perfect, the only thing that we felt was needed was an oven in the property switching out the dish washer

Really appreciated the generous welcome pack and friendly introduction from the owner Catherine. Great location in a small village with an excellent pub opposite âThe Fleece Innâ â¦.. highly recommended! Appreciated the recommendations for walks and places to visit by the owners, would highly recommend this as a place to stay in a beautiful location.
