Enjoy mealtimes together at the dining table or in the summer months make use of the garden for an alfresco affair with a scenic backdrop. Mellor, with its great amenities and closeness to the Ribble Valley and Forest of Bowland Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is a lovely choice for a UK staycation, thanks to its more rural environment and surrounding open fields. A Post Office and village shop, two pubs, two churches, and an exceptional butcher are all located in the village. Mellor is located near to the Mellor Brook village and makes an ideal walking base.

Had to buy a broom, which we left for other people. There were no real negatives. The village was ideally situated with good facilities and the meal at the Millstone restaurant was excellent.
