Guests say

Seastone Cottage in Weybourne is a well-loved property praised for its comfort, beautiful furnishings, and excellent location close to the beach and local amenities. Guests enjoy the spacious rooms, powerful shower, and cosy wood burners, making it a welcoming base for exploring North Norfolk. The sunny garden adds to the charm, although some guests noted minor issues with maintenance and a lack of welcome gifts.

Most guests found the cottage to be clean and well-presented. However, a few mentioned finding dust and debris under beds and behind furniture, suggesting room for improvement in the cleaning routine.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, local pub, and scenic coastal walks, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing holiday.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the large master bedroom and powerful shower. Some concerns were raised about the heat in the loft bedroom and the size of the sofas.

The property is well-equipped, with a particular appreciation for the bathroom facilities. However, some guests noted issues with hot water supply, wobbly furniture, and missing items from the inventory.

While guests did not consistently mention gifts, there were comments on the lack of a welcome tray and basic provisions upon arrival. As gifts are not guaranteed, this is a reminder that such personal touches, though appreciated, are at the discretion of the property owners.

We had a lovely week at Seastone, we were 4 adults and found the cottage comfortable and well equipped. As mentioned in other reviews the stairs are quite steep and the top bedroom does get warm when it is warm. The village is lovely and we would recommend the local pub, the ship, for tasty meals. Seastone is a great base for exploring the north Norfolk coast and we wouldn’t hesitate to book the cottage again if we return to the area.
