Great location in the heart of Wells but surprisingly quiet. Adjacent parking turned out to be quite good, providing you wanted to pay. Otherwise plenty of free parking only a short walk away. Lounge and dining area good and comfy as were the beds. The beds did seem a bit soft at first but we got used to them and were not an issue at all. Bathroom and shower no problem, all nice and clean. Good spacious living accommodation; there were 4 people staying and we didn't feel 'cramped' at any time.

The flat is in an excellent location right near the quay and on the main shopping street. One reviewer mentioned noise of early morning deliveries and we did notice these, but certainly not bad enough to spoil the comfort and coziness we enjoyed. The flat has a window seat and this was an excellent place to sit and read and watch the world go by - especially on a rainy day. Wells is delightful. Just love it. We bought all our food in the local shops and have to say, the quality was exceptional without being overly expensive. Plenty of places to eat and drink - all worth a visit, so difficult to make a choice of where to go. There are lots of good walks in Wells and nearby, and a must at this time of the year is a boat trip to see the seals. Be prepared for weather conditions to change your plans; our trip was cancelled twice. Third time lucky. Should we have another opportunity to go to Wells, would definitely stay at The Crown and Anchor
