The property's location in Cumbria & The Lake District offers easy access to outdoor activities and site facilities. Guests appreciate the responsiveness of the owners and the thoughtful touches, such as a surprise Prosecco and cookies. Some minor maintenance issues were noted, but these did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.

Most guests found the lodge clean and well-maintained, though there were isolated comments about dog hairs and the need for better vacuuming. The majority of feedback, however, highlights a clean and modern environment.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local attractions, ease of parking, and accessibility to site facilities. The scenic surroundings and convenience for exploring Windermere and the Lake District contribute to its high rating.

Guests generally found the lodge comfortable, with a spacious living area and suitable furnishings. Some personal preferences were mentioned regarding seating arrangements, but overall comfort was rated highly.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a few reports of minor maintenance issues such as a non-working freezer and flickering lights. The on-site amenities like the pub and pool are appreciated, but some guests experienced issues with Wi-Fi and TV signal.

The owners' thoughtfulness is evident in the provision of amenities and occasional surprises like Prosecco and cookies. However, it is important to note that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be a consistent offering for all stays.

The unit needed hoovering because of items found on the floor in the main living space. Dog hairs were found in the both and the small hoover didn’t work because it hadn’t been emptied, that was full of hairs too. The lodge itself was situated in a good location however, the TV couldn’t be used as it works from a wifi signal and the bandwidth to that system was too small to stream live TV Overall, a relaxing location but I wouldn’t choose to go back there.
