Fieldside Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location in Windermere. Guests appreciate the well-equipped and maintained lodge, noting its cosy and homely touches. The property offers a peaceful stay with beautiful views, though some minor maintenance and Wi-Fi issues are mentioned.
The lodge receives commendations for its cleanliness, with several guests describing it as spotless and tidy. There are a few isolated comments about minor issues such as a mouse sighting, a red wine stain, and some grit on the floor, but these do not seem to be common experiences.
The location is consistently praised for being peaceful, private, and central to local attractions. Its proximity to Windermere, Ambleside, and the lakes makes it an ideal spot for exploring the area.
Guests find the lodge comfortable, with modern decor and a cosy atmosphere. The property is described as a home from home, with a well-stocked kitchen and excellent shower facilities, contributing to a pleasant stay.
The lodge is well-equipped, exceeding some guests' expectations. However, there are comments about the need for a lick of paint and the Wi-Fi being patchy, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
While guests find the lodge welcoming, there is no specific mention of gifts or special touches that would fall under the category of thoughtfulness. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score in this category.

On arrival property was spotless with a welcome feel however a nice extra touch would be a welcome pack to allow a cuppa whilst awaiting shop delivery. The site itself could do with a spruce up and amenities limited..all in all had a good time and would recommend the property.
