The location is frequently highlighted for its beauty and tranquillity, with easy access to local walks and attractions, making it an ideal setting for a peaceful retreat.

While the bedroom and overall accommodation receive praise for comfort, several guests find the lounge seating to be uncomfortable, which affects the overall comfort score.

Beautifully quiet spot. Lovely accommodation. Loads of walks directly from the cottage or a little further afield. We will definitely be back.

We could set off straight onto interesting walks, including to Cartmel, there were lots of birds on the feeders outside our windows including nuthatch and woodpeckers and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Even the car parking was very convenient. Brilliant!
