Guests say

Stanley's Sanctuary in Cockermouth offers a cosy and comfortable stay with great views and a quiet site, ideal for exploring the Lake District. Guests appreciate the well-equipped caravan and the cleanliness, though some noted the mattresses and pillows could be more comfortable. The site's dog exercise field is a bonus for pet owners.

Reviews consistently mention the caravan being clean and spotless, with only a minor comment about the exterior needing a clean.

The location is generally appreciated for its quietness and views, though one review mentioned it was a bit too far away for their preference.

While the caravan is described as cosy and comfortable, several guests have mentioned that the mattresses and pillows could be improved.

Facilities are well-received with everything needed provided. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as non-working lights and a lack of sharp knives.

There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

The whole site was lovely and the dog exercise field was a bonus. The only thing to mention was the outside of the caravan could do with a clean.

I didn’t even wanted to come back. It was amazing experience. Just the mattress and pillows were not comfortable. the rest is more than 5 star. Love to go again and again.
