Maple Lodge receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped facilities, including a private hot tub and pool. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches like a welcome hamper and dressing gowns, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The lodge's location offers tranquillity and privacy, with easy access to local attractions. Some minor maintenance issues and Wi-Fi connectivity problems were noted, but overall, guests are eager to return and recommend the property.
Guests consistently mention the lodge's immaculate condition, with particular emphasis on the cleanliness of the accommodation. A few minor comments about windows and gutters suggest room for improvement, but these do not detract significantly from the overall high standards maintained.
The lodge is appreciated for its quiet setting and privacy, with proximity to local attractions and amenities. The location is not extensively reviewed, but the available comments suggest satisfaction with the setting and convenience for exploring the area.
Comfort is a highlight, with guests finding the lodge spacious and well-appointed. The provision of comfortable beds and private gardens adds to the relaxing experience. Some discomfort with settees and a lack of ventilation in one bedroom are noted, but these are minor compared to the overall comfort enjoyed.
Facilities like the hot tub, swimming pool, and well-equipped kitchen are frequently praised. However, some guests reported maintenance issues such as broken toilet seats and leaking gutters. The presence of a wasps' nest and non-functioning hot tub lights indicate that while facilities are generally excellent, there is a need for more consistent maintenance.
The lodge's thoughtful gestures, such as a welcome hamper and dressing gowns, are well-received by guests. While these touches contribute positively to the experience, it is noted that such gifts, while appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

We loved the hot tub and made full use of the swimming pool too. The property was clean and comfortable apart from the settees which were slopping down which made them really uncomfortable. A couple of light bulbs had blown and need replacing. It would have been a good idea to have two sets of key fobs. We had two cars and had to wait for the gate to be opened if we arrived back at different times. Overall a very enjoyable break.

Just love this place and works out so well. 2 hr drive from London. Quiet and secure compound but lovely country walking areas. 15 mins from Rutland Water where all the activities are. It works well for me and mu family plus extended family when we just wanna have a big family get together (and end up taking the two large log cabins as we've done last two years)

Both bathrooms had broken toilet seats. When management were told of these problems they came to get rid of the wasps with raid - which meant the whole lodge smelt awful. Nothing else was resolved and no apologies. A shame as this is our second stay here.
