Menza
The mattresses for the single beds were too firm for comfort and a good nightâs sleep. While bed firmness/softness is a personal matter, it would be helpful for customers of Sykes to have some way of knowing how firm/soft the bedding is for the accommodation they are considering booking. A three or four tier grading would suffice to give some indication, even if some subjectivity is involved, e.g. firm, quite firm, quite soft, soft, should be sufficient. Had this information been available, we would not have booked the Tollerton accommodation as the single beds would be classified as firm. Our friends slept in the double bed so we cannot comment on that one. Other than that, we found the accommodation enjoyable and well appointed.

The cottage is even more impressive than it looks on the website. Loads to do and see within easy reach yet incredibly peaceful and relaxing. This is the best place we have stayed at home or abroad. Thank you Dawn and Lee for opening up this superior home to us.
