Guests have had delightful stays at Honeybee Lodge, praising its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and thoughtful touches from the host. The lodge's location is celebrated for its perfect balance of convenience and tranquillity, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration of Lincolnshire. While there are minor suggestions for improvement, the overall experience is highly recommended for those seeking a unique and well-appointed retreat.
Reviewers are pleased with the cleanliness, with positive remarks about the well-presented Shepherds Hut. One minor concern about grass clippings suggests room for improvement, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.
The location is described as perfect, well-situated for visiting the area while remaining quiet and peaceful. No negative comments about the location indicate that guests are very satisfied.
Comfort is consistently praised, with mentions of a very comfy bed and warm shower. A suggestion for a lower tog duvet indicates a slight adjustment could enhance comfort during warmer weather.
Facilities are generally excellent, with a well-appointed shepherd's hut. However, a guest suggested better information on rubbish recycling and a comment on grass maintenance indicates some areas could be improved.
The host's thoughtfulness is appreciated, with mentions of a lovely welcome pack. While such gestures are warmly received, it is noted that these are not guaranteed for every stay.

The field was secure and perfect for my dog to run around freely. The hut was cosy and well decorated with plenty of blankets for the cooler evenings. We had a lovely welcome pack with some bread and milk so thank you for that. For feedback purposes there was a couple of minor things. Some of the cutlery was dirty and had to be re washed. The bed is nearing its end, you can feel the springs and plastic from the mattress detailing was coming through the sheets and poking us. We had to pull them out as was very uncomfortable. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet and using blankets instead. It could also do with some hooks to hang certain clothes items as there is nowhere at all to hang clothes or wet towels. And it is slightly over cluttered on the shelf by the bed. Nowhere to put my belongings. I would definitely come back to this hut and would recommend it to friends.

Beautifully decorated and with a lovely welcome pack. Well situated for visiting this part of Lincolnshire but still in a quiet spot. One can chill out sitting outside the hut after a long day of touring and relax. Definitely will return, thank you!

It could be better if cut grass on paddock around honey bee lodge is lifted rather than left laying and ending up being carried into property on shoes etc , also information about rubbish recycling and which bins to use would be helpful
