There are lovely walks into the countryside from the doorstep and close by is the Longborough Festival Opera, which stages performances throughout the summer months.  There are many local towns and villages to discover including Moreton-in-Marsh (3 miles) where you can catch the train to London Paddington (90 minutes), Stow-on-the-Wold (4 miles) both towns with many local amenities, independent shops and restaurants and a regular market.  Batsford Arboretum, Broadway Tower and Daylesford Farm Shop and Spa are all fabulous places to visit d. . .
