Most guests found the cottage clean and well-presented. However, a few mentioned areas that required attention, such as the bathroom and kitchen, which slightly lowers the score.
The location is highly praised for its stunning views and peaceful village setting, with easy access to local amenities and the Cotswolds. Parking was occasionally challenging for some.
The cottage is described as comfortable and cosy, with a particularly well-received welcome hamper. Some guests mentioned issues with beds and heating on upper floors, which affects the score.

The welcome hamper was a highlight for guests, indicating thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.
Perfect for a romantic getaway for two, this lovingly renovated and fully modernised cottage complete with Cotswold stone fireplace, open fire, Aga and pretty garden with sun terrace, is ideal for a break in the Cotswolds throughout the seasons.

`great for two people. The cooker was a problem. We had to go onto the manufactures web site to get it to work. Also the large tv is great but over complicated to operate. ````and why have dinner plates that are almost too large for the sink and bowl to wash. Simple is better.

Fantastic stay, as always, 3rd stay at this cottage, this time for our honeymoon! Stunning views, cozy rooms and great location. The eye for detail we have gotten used to at this property was a bit less this time around (went from really lovely toiletries to no toiletries, someone did bring us some on the second day, but they were rather bad quality, only 1 roll of loo-roll in the bathrooms, no clean kitchen towels), but it didn't really impact our stay too much. We look forward to continuing to stay here year after year!

Although there was a warning regarding the shower room and one of the bedrooms, it should also have included the top flight of stairs being narrow and steep. My husband slipped on the bottom three where they turn and lacerated and fractured his big toe. Both toilet seats were loose and unstable and the curtain hook in the bedroom was also loose Much as the wine was appreciated, a pint of milk after a journey would have been more so. Blockley is a lovely village and ideally located for the Cotswalds The information should have included the nearest hospital or walk-in clinic
