As a base it was good enabling us to visit as far west as the Waterford Greenway and north as the Wicklow Gap and Glendalough. Philomena was a warm and friendly host and her scones were a much welcomed treat. We were only sorry we had to cut a stay short due to International flight times

The owner is very helpful and had scones left in the house on arrival. I would go back again.

Philimena the owner met me on arrival to explain the heating & made sure everything was satisfactory. She had made some tasty scones which were a nice welcoming touch. The WiFi was good & everything was clean & tidy, the oil heating worked really well on this cold week that I stayed there.
