Snaptrip says

Cwtsh Cragen in New Quay is a well-received apartment praised for its cleanliness, superb location near the beach and town, and comfortable amenities. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches from the hosts and the property's suitability for a relaxing holiday, despite some minor issues with facilities and noise from neighbours.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the apartment to be clean and tidy, with only one mention of the bathroom needing attention. The positive remarks on cleanliness from several reviews suggest a high standard is typically maintained.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach and town centre, with easy access to coastal paths and local amenities. The scenic views and quiet area contribute to its excellent rating.

Guests describe the apartment as comfortable, with good-sized bedrooms and a cosy atmosphere. However, some noise from neighbours and the property's policy on dogs slightly impacted the comfort for a few guests.

The facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of new appliances and furniture. Some guests noted the lack of smaller saucepans, a bottle opener, and a washing machine, indicating room for improvement.

Guests were touched by the welcome packs and the hosts' responsiveness, which added to their positive experience. It is politely noted that such gestures, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

Its position inside Quay West holiday camp allowed us to use some of the facilities provided on the camp (shop & takeaways). It is in a great place for walks on the beach and to the town. The only downside is that it is very hilly and would not be good for someone with mobility problems. Overall a very good place to stay we really enjoyed it.

Easy access to beach and only a short walk to New Quay with plenty of shops and restaurants would definitely stay here again

The accommodation isn’t luxury but provided everything we needed for a week’s stay with our 6 month old baby and dog. We loved seeing the sea from the kitchen window, and being only a few minutes walk to the beach for runs and walks. New Quay a short walk away along the coastal path (or main road, or beach at low tide) for coffee or fish and chips. Didn’t hear the neighbours at all. Warm. Comfy bed. Parking space. Very helpful host provided her contact details for if we needed anything. Thanks again, we hope to be back.
