To say we thoroughly enjoyed our stay is an understatement. We would have happily stayed another week or more! The cottage itself was very cosy and inviting with beautiful and calming decor. On arrival we were welcomed with a lovely bottle of fizz (my favourite) and lovely chocolate ginger biccies ( again a personal favourite). We thought this was a lovely gesture. The kitchen was fantastic and well equipped should you want to cook and eat in. There was a hair dryer and hair straighteners too which I ended up not using as I was too relaxed and not caring how I looked. Our bed was king-sized and very comfortable and the pillows were too. Myself and hubby slept in each morning. The shower was powerful with constant hot water. Overall such a lovely cottage. Imagine wakening up to cows mooing and sheep bleeting. Making your morning cuppa and seeing cows in the fields. Absolute bliss. Our hosts were a lovely couple who were so friendly and helpful and on hand if needed. They both kindly gave us a tour of their farm and animals. The newborn lambs were adorable. It was lovely to meet the horses, cows, sheep and lovely Mist the sheepdog. It's lovely to meet a genuine family who are passionate about animals and their work. I guarantee you'll enjoy your stay and be left with magical memories.
