While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the charm of the cottage and its location in the Northern Highlands make for a memorable stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found the cottage clean, with only a few mentioning the need for a more thorough clean or minor issues. The property seems well-maintained overall.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to nature and sightseeing spots. The quietness at night and the scenic surroundings contribute to a positive experience.

Guests report a very comfortable bed and a cosy atmosphere, especially with the open fire. Some mention a dip in the mattress and a lack of powerful shower, but overall the comfort level is high.

The facilities are generally appreciated, though some guests encountered issues with hot water, heating, and kitchen appliances. The host's responsiveness to these issues seems to vary.

While guests mention a welcoming host and a pleasant stay, there are no specific references to gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Hosts were welcoming and very helpful with local knowledge. We appreciated the open fire. Kitchen had everything we needed. A lovely place to stay.

I saw a white tailed eagle in front of the cottage! The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Very nice people. I’ve let them know about a couple of small things that need addressing. Sweeping brush replacing and washing up brush with faulty handle but these are minor and I’m sure will be dealt with. I was on my own this time and had a peaceful, restful stay. I was hill walking and bird watching. Thank you very much.

We have just returned from a beautiful holiday and the accommodation for the price was excellent, the couch was very uncomfortable for two people to sit on, and the shower lacked any power and was not good for my wife’s hair, but apart from that it was perfect, location was amazing, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, some amazing places to visit, Thankyou
