Snaptrip says

Blue Reef Cottage in Penzance, Cornwall, receives high praise for its cleanliness, stunning views, and prime location close to local amenities and beautiful beaches. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, comfortable furnishings, and thoughtful touches such as a welcome pack. While some minor suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently mention the cottage's cleanliness, describing it as 'very clean', 'spotlessly clean', and 'immaculately laundered'. The high frequency of these compliments suggests exceptional standards of cleanliness.

The location is frequently highlighted as a positive feature, with guests noting the proximity to beaches, local pubs, and attractions like the South West Coast Path. The scenic views and peaceful setting contribute to the high rating.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy, especially with the wood-burning stove. However, a few guests mention the low ceiling on the stairs and the downstairs bathroom as minor inconveniences.

Facilities are generally praised, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and the addition of a larger TV. Some guests suggest improvements such as a more powerful shower and additional kitchen items, leading to a slightly lower score.

Guests feel welcomed by thoughtful gestures such as a welcome pack and wine on arrival. While these gifts are appreciated, it is noted that such extras, though delightful, are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

Sadly the chip shop and tapas restaurant have closed which was disappointing. The cottage is cozy and clean and a slight problem we had on arrival was speedily sorted by the delightful Tessa along with the handyman. We did find the stairs a challenge as the head height is very low, and the downstairs bathroom is not ideal, but of course we knew this when we booked . Sadly we didn’t have the best weather but the wood burning stove was great and kept us warm. I would have liked a little more in the way of reading lamps, books, throws, and maybe a small radio for the kitchen but overall the cottage was very well equipped with beautiful towels, bedding, kitchen wear etc. The complimentary wine, toiletries etc was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
