A beautiful, rural retreat just three miles from the surfy sands at Sennen Cove in the Far West of Cornwall, Barneys Barn is one three holiday cottages positioned within the grounds of the owners 17th century grade II listed farmhouse. Surrounded by peaceful countryside this is a perfect hideaway holiday for families or friends with easy access to the coast for beach days and walking the coastal footpath. This splendid barn conversion offers tasteful and modern accommodation over two floors. Enter the property on the ground floor where returning from days at the beach you can relax in supreme comfort. The light and airy open plan living space is furnished with big modern sofas and a chunky dining table and chairs for family meals. Partially separate a modern, glossy white kitchen is well fitted and equipped with all you need for preparing meals for the family. There is a modern shower room on this level with two steps down to a lovely twin room (zip n link to double). Each of the three lavish and beautifully presented bedrooms, offer versatile sleeping arrangements, each with zip/link beds that can be presented as twins or super-king beds. Stairs lead down to the lower ground floor and the remaining two bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room and the other with use of a separate bathroom, each with stable doors leading onto an enclosed patio. On this floor, there is also a useful utilities area. Outside a decked terrace is accessed from the living room and enjoys meadow views over a lawned garden for private use, a perfect spot to share drinks and recap on the day's adventures. Just three miles the village of Sennen with its fine white sands and azure blue sea, the area popular with surfers and the beach lifeguarded during the summer season making it a popular destination for all ages and interests. Sennen Cove retains much of its charm with a number of small fishing boats still operating from the quaint harbour. Overlooking the beach there is a first-class beach restaurant serving locally sourced seasonal produce. You will also find a traditional pub for great local ales, art galleries selling work by local artists, a convenience store and an all-important fish and chip shop. For days out and the beaches of St Ives are in easy reach, as is the pretty village of Marazion, home to the famous castle topped island of St Michael's Mount. The Minack, a famous open-air theatre, at Porthcurno is within a 30 minute drive and an unmissable experience. With the beaches and amenities of Sennen Cove on your doorstep and the surrounding picturesque countryside offering peace and tranquility, you will have all the ingredients for a great holiday with friends and family at any time of year.

The small fishing village of Sennen Cove is situated close to Land’s End in Cornwall. The village has a lifeboat station, church, a couple of shops, a café plus two popular gastropubs. The town of St Just is the nearest town to Land’s End and has several monument and prehistoric antiquities, including a Bronze Age settlement at Cape Cornwall. The town also has a town hall, a church, shops and pubs, and Plain-an-Gwarry, a theatre used for miracle plays in medieval times. Porthcurno, which has the outdoor Minack Theatre is situated 5 miles away. The village of Mousehole is within a short drive where stargazy pie can be sampled. Also within reach is the town of Penzance, which boasts winding streets, shops, clubs, restaurants and a harbour, from where day trips to the Scilly Isles can be enjoyed. A lovely base for your Cornwall adventure.

    So rural and peaceful and10mins away from a stunning beach with wonderful walks on the doorstep. Lots of things to do and places to visit. Missing it already.
