Orchard Lodge is highly praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and serene location. Guests frequently mention the warm welcome, including homemade cakes, and the property's suitability for both relaxation and exploring local attractions. The lodge is noted for its well-equipped kitchen, cosy atmosphere, and the helpfulness of the hosts, although some guests find the space compact, particularly for larger parties.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviewers consistently commend the lodge for its spotless condition, with numerous mentions of the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The lodge's location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to local sights, including the South Downs and Brighton. However, a few guests noted the remote nature and limited mobile signal.

Guests find the beds super comfy and the lodge cosy, contributing to a restful stay. Some guests mention the lodge being snug for larger groups, which slightly impacts the comfort score.

The lodge is well-equipped for self-catering, with a good range of kitchenware and useful information for guests. Some reviews suggest that additional facilities like an iron or larger seating arrangements could enhance the experience.

The thoughtful touches, such as homemade cakes and a welcome pack, are frequently highlighted and appreciated by guests. It is politely noted that while these gifts are a lovely gesture, they are not guaranteed for every stay.
