The property's cleanliness and comfort are highlighted, alongside the provision of a welcome pack and excellent communication from the hosts.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests have not specifically mentioned cleanliness, but the use of terms like 'lovely and clean' and the absence of any negative comments suggest that the property is maintained to a high standard.

There is insufficient information to accurately assess the location as reviews do not provide specific details on the property's surroundings or accessibility.

Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the cottage cosy, particularly noting the log burner, comfortable beds, and the overall welcoming atmosphere.

The cottage is repeatedly described as well-equipped and thoughtfully furnished, with a well-stocked kitchen, games, books, toiletries, and reliable internet connection.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident through mentions of welcome gifts and a basket of goodies. While these gestures are greatly appreciated by guests, it should be noted that such personal touches, though likely, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Dalston is a settlement located in Cumbria's Carlisle district, which was formerly a part of Cumberland. The red sandstone church of St. Michael, which dates to the 13th century, is located in the town centre, and Dalston Hall is a magnificent Grade II listed structure with character and landscape gardens that is frequently used as a wedding location. The palace of the Bishops of Carlisle, Rose Castle, is about two miles south of Dalston; it is closed to the public but may be seen from the road. With two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one World Heritage Site, numerous pedestrianised commercial areas, award-winning malls, vibrant farmer's markets, and a classic Victorian indoor market, Carlisle, a 2000-year-old city, is reachable in four and a half miles. Dalston is an excellent starting point for outdoor enthusiasts because it also offers easy access to the stunning North Pennines aonb and the Lake District National Park.

We arrived late and the lights were on making it feel so welcoming and there was a welcome note and gift from the owner. It is such an interesting place, quirky in the best sense, spacious, well-cared for and comfortable. The throws and log burner meant it was cosy, just right for a relaxing holiday.
